On Sunday October 4, 2020 at approximately 7:04 AM officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department initially responded to the area of the 7900 block of Decatur Road in reference to a male outside suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

On Saturday, 10/03/2020, at approximately 4:32 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Getz Road reference an assist for medics. Officers arrived and were informed two male/adult victims were located along the roadway.

On Saturday, 09/03/2020, at approximately 1:01 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Werling Drive reference a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located the male/adult victim inside a residence.

At approximately 9:30 pm officers were at the Regency Inn, 1004 W. Coliseum Blvd, for an unrelated call to service. While conducting their investigation an adult female approached officers and requested assistance retrieving some personal items from the hotel.
Murder Arrest Update
Following the arrest of Tommy Lyles on September 29th 2020, homicide detectives continued to investigate the murder he was charged with and discovered evidence and witnesses that exonerated him.

On Sunday, 09/27/2020, at approximately 1:11 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the intersection of West Jefferson Blvd. and Catalpa Street reference a vehicle crash with injuries. Dispatch received several calls indicating the crash involved a Dodge Charger and Chevy Equinox.
