Suspicious Death

On 7/24/2020 at approximately 12:15 am officers responded to the intersection of W. Rudisill Boulevard and Webster Street for the report of a man down. Initial reports were that someone a passerby saw the victim lying face down on the ground and called 911.
Fatal Shooting Investigation

On 7/21/2020 at approximately 8:05 p.m. officers were dispatched to 2516 Lillie Street for the report of a shooting. While officers were en route to the location several more calls came in reporting shots fired in the 2500 block of Lillie Street.
Clinton Callout

Officers were initially dispatched to the area of 3000 S Calhoun reference shots fired. As they were going to that location they were advised that in the area of 3000 S Harrison they also had reports and that someone may be shot.
Shooting Suspect in Custody

On July 18, 2020 at approximately 3:20 am officers were called to the 1600 block of Rosemont Avenue with a report that a male, later identified as Jeremy Elder Jr., was knocking on their door.
Attempting to Locate

Attempt to locate shooting suspect: Jeremy Clayton Elder Jr. M/H age 23, 6’1” tall, approximately 220 pounds, long dark hair and a large tattoo above his right eye.
Shooting Investigation

On Saturday July 11, 2020 at approximately 4:22 AM officers were in the area of Plaza Drive & Pettit Avenue when they heard several gunshots coming from the immediate area. A short time later, officers observed a vehicle that had crashed into an unoccupied parked vehicle near this intersection.
