If you need to report a crime in progress or if the suspect is still on the scene Call 911
This module is available to report some of the more common crimes where a police response is not required. This module will allow you to submit a report at any time. Once approved by the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Records Division, an incident number will be sent to the email you provide. Please confirm the following to make sure an online report is appropriate.
1. This is not an emergency.
2. The suspect(s) is/are not on the scene.
3. The incident happened inside the city limits of Fort Wayne.
If all of the above criteria are true you will be ready to complete certain online reports by clicking the "Online Reporting" button below.
If you do not find the type of report you wish to file please call the Fort Wayne Police Department at (260) 427-1222.

Provide as many details as possible when filling out your report. Once submitted you will be directed to a Thank You page. If you have any question about the process or if you do not receive a report number in a timely manner please call Records at (260) 427-1222.
All reports will be reviewed and if further information is needed you may be contacted.
