On July 18, 2020 at approximately 3:20 am officers were called to the 1600 block of Rosemont Avenue with a report that a male, later identified as Jeremy Elder Jr., was knocking on their door.
Attempting to Locate

Attempt to locate shooting suspect: Jeremy Clayton Elder Jr. M/H age 23, 6’1” tall, approximately 220 pounds, long dark hair and a large tattoo above his right eye.
Shooting Investigation

On Saturday July 11, 2020 at approximately 4:22 AM officers were in the area of Plaza Drive & Pettit Avenue when they heard several gunshots coming from the immediate area. A short time later, officers observed a vehicle that had crashed into an unoccupied parked vehicle near this intersection.

On Saturday, 07/11/2020, at approximately 2:21 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 3520 East Dupont Road, the Hampton Inn, reference an assist for paramedics. They were at the hotel providing medical treatment to an unresponsive female.
Man Down

Officers were called to the 400 block of W Williams reference a man down call. A homeowner reported a man in his yard. Upon arrival the officers did find that man in the yard. Medics pronounced the male adult deceased.
Single Vehicle Fatal Crash

On Friday, 07/10/2020, at approximately 12:51 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the intersection of Spring Street and Lindenwood Avenue reference a traffic hazard. A witness called dispatch to report a tree limb was blocking the roadway.

On Wednesday, 07/08/2020, at approximately 11:00 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Coliseum Inn located at 1020 North Coliseum Blvd. reference a shooting. A witness reported a male had been shot inside one of the motel rooms.
