On Wednesday, 08/19/2020, at approximately 9:16 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 4600 block of Standish Drive reference a domestic battery involving a subject armed with a gun. While officers were responding, dispatch advised the subject that was allegedly armed with the gun had been stabbed.

On Monday, 08/17/2020, at approximately 1:16 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 320 West Jefferson Blvd, Rally’s Hamburgers, reference a shooting. Witnesses reported a subject in the parking lot had been shot.

On Sunday, 08/16/2020, at approximately 2:52 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 4030 Coldwater Road, Club 44, reference gunshots being fired in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and were told a disturbance inside the club led to gunshots being fired in the parking lot.

Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives along with Indiana State Police located and arrested Markquiel Derrick just south of Indianapolis last night just after 7:00pm. He was transported back to Fort Wayne and booked into the Allen County Jail on a charge of Murder.

On Thursday, 08/13/2020, at approximately 10:28 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 300 block of West Rudisill Blvd. reference a shooting. Officers arrived and located the male/adult victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital in serious condition.
