On Sunday, 10/04/2020, at approximately 4:30 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a residence in the 5200 block of South Anthony Blvd. reference a domestic dispute involving a party armed with a firearm.
Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives assisted by Vice Narcotics and Gang/Violent Crimes apprehended the suspect from a homicide earlier this morning. Two people were shot and a female victim, name not yet released, died this morning in the 7900 block of Serenity Drive.

On Saturday, 10/03/2020, at approximately 4:32 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Getz Road reference an assist for medics. Officers arrived and were informed two male/adult victims were located along the roadway.

On Saturday, 09/03/2020, at approximately 1:01 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Werling Drive reference a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located the male/adult victim inside a residence.

At approximately 9:30 pm officers were at the Regency Inn, 1004 W. Coliseum Blvd, for an unrelated call to service. While conducting their investigation an adult female approached officers and requested assistance retrieving some personal items from the hotel.
Murder Arrest Update
Following the arrest of Tommy Lyles on September 29th 2020, homicide detectives continued to investigate the murder he was charged with and discovered evidence and witnesses that exonerated him.
