On August 15, 2021 shortly after 2:15 pm the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bowser and Oxford. Officers were advised that there was 2 vehicles involved and one of the vehicles was smoking and there was also one of the vehicles that had struck a building.

On Friday, August 6, 2021, at approximately 2:29 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Fort Wayne International Airport in reference to a suspicious bag. The TSA had received information about a bomb threat via social media.

On August 6, 2021 at approximately 11:31 AM dispatched received a call reporting gunshots had been heard in the area. When officers arrived there were multiple bullet casings in the road. Officers also observed what appeared to be bullet holes in the vehicle and the house at 2723 Indiana Ave.
