Details/Summary:

On June 23, 2025, at 2351 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 7500 block of S. Hanna St at Tillman Park in reference to a shooting investigation where two adult male victims were located suffering from gunshots wounds. Upon arrival, Officers located Eriyn White 20yo who was pronounced deceased on-scene, and the second male victim was transported to an area trauma center in critical condition. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit responded to the scene and conducted a criminal investigation.

On June 24, 2025, Homicide Unit Detectives identified a 17yo male juvenile as the suspect in connection to the homicide of Eriyn White 20yo. The Homicide Task Force took the 17yo male juvenile into custody in the 200 block of E. Rudisill Blvd without incident. The 17yo male juvenile has been preliminary charged with Murder and Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun–Prior Conviction and is currently being held at the Allen County Justice Center.
