Details/Summary:

On Monday, February 10, 2024, around 7:53 pm, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) were dispatched to a shooting on the 1200 block of Fayette Dr. Upon their arrival, they discovered that a female juvenile had been shot. After being taken to a hospital, the ER staff determined that her condition was critical.

There is no threat to the public. The FWPD and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office are investigating this incident. Anyone with information about it is asked to contact the FWPD at 260-427-1201, Crime Stoppers at 260-436-7867, or use the free “P3 Tips” app.
