Details/Summary:   

On December 18, 2025 the Fort Wayne Police Department received a rape complaint.  The victim stated that she was raped by her Lyft driver while at the Coliseum Inn, 1020 North Coliseum Blvd.  Detective Roy Sutphin of the Crimes Against Persons Unit (CAPS), was assigned to the investigation.  During the investigation, Detective Sutphin identified the suspect as Abdul Rahim Bin Nordin of Fort Wayne.  On Today’s date, Detective Sutphin and other officers of the Fort Wayne Police Department apprehended Nordin and placed him under arrest for rape, a level three felony.  The Fort Wayne Police Department thanks the staff of the Coliseum Inn and the Sexual Assault Treatment Center for their assistance and cooperation in this investigation.
