Fatal Accident

Time: Approximately 3:48am

Details/Summary:

On December 25, 2024, at approximately 3:48am, FWPD received a call about a single vehicle accident in the area of West Washington Center Rd and Flaugh Road. The initial call stated that it appeared as if a vehicle flipped over, and a person possibly ejected. When Officers arrived, they found an unresponsive male on the ground next to a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a rollover accident. Medics arrived and pronounced the male deceased
at the scene. It appears that speed was a factor.

The crash remains under investigation by the FWPD FACT team and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
