Details/Summary:

The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area on 5900 Winter Street at approximately 10:33pm on Thursday August 15, 2024. Officers arrived on scene and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical attention was administered at the scene, as Medics transported the victim to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

This Incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians, as well as the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
