Details/Summary:

On September 03, 2023, a mother living in Ohio drove to Fort Wayne to meet with a FWPD officer at the Police Operations Center along with her three (3) adult children. They reported child sexual abuse by their uncle when they were minors. David Nabor was identified as the alleged defendant. Later, two (2) other nieces reported child sexual abuse naming Mr. Nabor as the alleged defendant. One is still a minor. Detective Sergeant Todd A. Battershell, a supervisor of the Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS), adopted the case. All five (5) victims were interviewed. Detective Sergeant Battershell learned that Mr. Nabor was a minor in some of the sexual assaults but was an adult in others.  The case was submitted to the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. Charges were subsequently filed resulting in an arrest warrant. Mr. Nabor is currently confined at the Correctional Industrial Facility located in Pendleton, Indiana for a crime he committed against a young child in 2022. Mr. Nabor will be transported back to Allen County in the coming weeks. Detective Sergeant Battershell was assisted by the Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children and the Indiana Department of Child Services-Allen County.
