Details/Summary:
On April 13, 2024 the Fort Wayne Police Department received a complaint of a sexual battery that occurred at an unknown location in the city. Detective Jean Gigli of the Crimes Against Persons Unit (CAPS), was assigned to the investigation. During the investigation, Detective Gigli learned that the victim is a 21-year-old autistic man who went with Brian Chambless to a van at an unknown location. While at this location, Chambless proceeded to sexually batter the victim. On Thursday, April 18, Officers located Chambless at the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission and placed him under arrest.
