Details/Summary:

On February 18, 2023, the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) informed the Fort Wayne Police Department about child sexual abuse involving a pregnant fifteen (15) year old. Detective Kenneth Johnson, an investigator with the FWPD Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS), was assigned as the case agent. The child participated in a Forensic Interview in which she disclosed being the victim of child sexual abuse that led to her becoming pregnant. She identified Moises Briones, Jr. as the alleged defendant. DNA confirmed the defendant was the father of the victim’s child. An arrest warrant was issued for the defendant once the investigation was completed. He was arrested on April 01, 2024.

Detective Johnson was assisted by Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children, Indiana DCS, the Indiana State Police Laboratory, FWPD Victim’s Assistance, and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department-Warrants Division.
