On Saturday November 26th 2022 at approximately 0222 am, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were made aware of an exchange of gun fire in the parking lot of the Gateway Plaza shopping center (1500 Goshen Rd). Officers located 2 victims, 1 Adult male and 1 Adult female in the parking lot, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and began providing medical aid until EMS arrived. Both victims were transported to a local area hospital by Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, where the male was declared to be in life threatening condition. The suspects fled the scene immediately following the exchange.

This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
