Fatal Stabbing Investigation

On Thursday October 13th 2022 at approximately 1802 hrs. officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to Fire Station One (419 E Main St) on reports of a stabbing.
An adult male was driven to this location by a colleague and was found to be suffering an apparent stab wound. Three Rivers Ambulance Authority transported the male to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. During the investigation Officers were led to a home in the 2200 block of Oliver. It is not yet determined if this is the location of the crime scene and is currently being processed for evidence.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim.
