On December 14th, 2021, at approximately 3:21 pm officers with the FWPD responded to a vehicle collision, motorcycle versus a sedan. The motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. While at the hospital he was pronounced deceased by medical staff a short time later. The driver of the sedan vehicle did not sustain any injuries.

From the preliminary investigation, the motorcycle was traveling south bound on Clinton St at a high rate of speed. As the motorcycle was coming to the entrance of Dwenger High School, the sedan pulled out from the entrance to travel north bound on Clinton St. The motorcycle could not stop in time and collided with the sedan. The sedan was occupied by an adult male driver and juvenile in the rear passenger seat. Neither occupant of the sedan suffered injuries.

The Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) investigators made the scene and were processing all evidence and conducting measurements for impact analysis. North bound Clinton St was closed during the investigation. Investigators were also canvassing for witnesses and cameras in the area that may have seen or recorded the accident. The cause and manner of death will be released by the Coroner’s office at a later date.
