To promote the philosophy of community policing, to effect a reduction of crime, and to enhance the perception of safety for all residents and visitors in the City of Fort Wayne, the Fort Wayne Police Department supports and provides for Home Fleet Vehicles for on-duty and qualified off-duty use.
