The media are invited to witness Officer Gary Griffith being recognized by Fazolis on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022 at 11:30am at 5909 Covington Rd. Officer Griffith performed CPR on a 16 year old male who was succumbing to an overdose on March 9th, 2022 at approximately 10:23pm. Officer Griffith responded to the scene within seconds and located the subject unconscious on the floor in the lobby of Fazolis (5909 Covington Rd.). He provided CPR until relieved by the Fire Department. The subject was later administered Narcan which began to revive the subject. Officer Griffith’s quick response and medical care, aided in the survival of the subject. Fazolis would like to honor Officer Griffith for his efforts.
