Fatal Shooting Investigation
Details:
On Sunday, 08/09/2020, at approximately 4:09 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Rodeway Inn located at 2920 Goshen Road reference an unknown problem. A caller informed dispatch a female was bleeding and lying on the ground outside of a room on the second floor.
Stabbing
Details:
On August 5th, 2020 at approximately 8:31 am officers were dispatched to the Hawthorne Suites Hotel parking lot at 4919 Lima Road for the report of a stabbing. Officers and fire department personnel arrived on scene and located an adult male, suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Murder Arrest
Details:
On August 6, 2020 in the early evening hours, an arrest was made in connection to the July 8, 2020 homicide at 1020 N Coliseum Blvd. Homicide detectives along Gang and Violent Crimes Unit and US Marshals received information that Stevenson was hiding out in a home in the 3600 block of Winter Street.
Credit Union Robbery
Details:
On July 31, 2020, at 4:59pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Partner’s First Federal Credit Union, 6731 Old Trail Rd.
Murder Arrest
Details:
Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives along with Narcotics and Gang Detectives arrested Darrius Holliness this evening. Holliness has been arrested and charged with Murder and Criminal Recklessness as well as Possession of Cocaine.
