Fatal Stabbing Investigation

Details:
On Friday October 14th 2022 at approximately 0235 am, Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 7900 block of Decatur Rd on reports of a woman being stabbed. Officer located an adult female victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second, adult male victim, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threating injuries. A person of interest has been identified and is currently detained. It is unknow at this time if the male victim is also a suspect.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office
