Details: 

On Friday August 20, 2021 at approximately 7:45 pm officers of the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 2723 Bowser Avenue for the report of a domestic related disturbance.  When officers arrived on scene they located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  The 47 year old victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries which were determined by hospital staff to be life threatening.  Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Detectives are currently on scene taking statements and collecting evidence.  This is currently an on-going investigation and at this time anyone with information is asked to called the detective bureau at 427-1201 or leave an anonymous tip through the P3 App available via cellphone for the Greater Fort Wayne Area.
