Arrest made in Homicide Investigation
Details:
After receiving multiple tips all day Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives were able to use this information in obtaining the location for the suspect from the early morning homicide at the Hawthorne Suites.
Officer Involved Accident Investigation
Details:
On January 18, 2021 at 11:00 pm the Fort Wayne Police Department was working to conclude a Fatal Traffic Investigation on Lima Road at the overpass over I-69. The Officer was sitting in his Fort Wayne Police Squad car with all of his Emergency Lights activated as he was blocking one lane of traffic in the Northbound Lanes.

On Sunday January 17, 2021 shortly after 4:00 pm the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Washington Blvd Between Webster and Ewing.
Shooting- Hawthorne Suites Hotel
Details:
Fort Wayne Police Officers were dispatched to 4919 Lima Rd, Hawthorne Suites Hotel at 8:41am for a shooting that just occurred. Upon arrival they found a male adult suffering from a gunshot wound (s).
Fatal Accident Investigation - Lima Rd at I-69 NB Overpass
Details:
On January 18, 2021at 8:44 pm the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Lima Road at the Overpass going over I-69 in the Northbound Lines. Initial reports indicated that a motor vehicle had struck a subject on a bicycle.
