Location of Incident: Coliseum Blvd at Crescent Avenue.
Victim #1: Adult Male - Transported to a local hospital in critical condition
Victim #2: CAdult Female - Transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Her condition was upgraded to serious condition at the hospital.

Fort Wayne, Ind - On June 5, 2013, at 8:06 p.m., officers of the FWPD were dispatched to assist TRAA Medics with a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Coliseum Blvd. and Crescent Avenue.  A TRAA Ambulance was westbound on Coliseum at Crescent responding to an emergency call for service with their lights and sirens activated.  Eastbound traffic on Coliseum slowed to a stop to yield to the emergency vehicle.  A motorcycle, driven by the adult male victim and transporting the adult female victim, crashed into the back of an SUV that had stopped to yield to the emergency vehicle. The ambulance crew observed that a motor vehicle crash occurred and stopped to render aid.  The medics called for another ambulance to assist them and for another to take over the emergency call for service they had been en route to at that time.
Both the adult male and adult female victim from the motorcycle were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.  The adult female was later upgraded to serious condition by the hospital staff.  Neither of the victims were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The occupants of the SUV were not injured.

Traffic is now back to normal at Coliseum and Crescent.
