Investigators Need Help in Identifying Pharmacy Robbery Suspect

Fort Wayne, Ind. – On Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at approximately 10:19 p.m. the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Walgreens located at 2410 N. Coliseum Blvd. reference a report of an armed robbery.  It was reported that a male subject entered the store, approached the pharmacy counter, and presented a note demanding Fentanyl and Methadone. Upon obtaining the narcotics, the suspect fled the store.  No injuries were reported at the scene.

Suspect Description: male/white, twenties in age, thin build; last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, and a black ball cap with a silver sticker on it and white writing.

Investigators have obtained video footage* from in-store surveillance and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.  Anyone knowing the identity or whereabouts of the suspect in the images or video is asked to contact the City of Fort Wayne Police Department at (260) 427-1222, or CrimeStoppers at (260) 436-STOP (7867) where a cash reward is possible for information received. This incident remains under investigation with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
