Investigators Seek to Identify Person of Interest

Loss of cash and cigarettes
The Fort Wayne Police Department is presently investigating a robbery that occurred on January 12, 2012 at approximately 11:38 p.m. at the Burger Dairy at 1450 St. Joseph Blvd. Four masked male subjects reportedly entered the store, with at least two of the subjects brandishing handguns, and approached the store clerk and demanded money from the register. Upon obtaining cash from the register and grabbing several cartons of cigarettes, the perpetrators fled the store on foot. There was at least one customer in the store who left prior to officers arriving. No injuries were reported.
Investigators were able to obtain images of the sole customer, at this time considered to be a person of interest, and believe that this person may have additional information reference this incident and investigators are asking that this person come forward to assist in the investigation.
