Pharmacy Robbery Investigation
Date/Time of Incident:          January 6, 2012 / 11:23 a.m.

On Friday, January 06, 2012 at approximately 11:23 a.m. the City of Fort Wayne Police Department
responded to 6202 W. Jefferson Blvd., Walgreens, reference a report of a possible robbery.  It was
reported that at the Walgreens, a male subject entered the store and demanded prescription pain
medication from the pharmacist.  It was further reported that the perpetrator did not display a weapon,
but had his hand in the pocket of his sweatshirt and threatened to harm the pharmacist if the 'drugs' were
not given to him.  The suspect fled the store to a waiting vehicle and possibly fled westbound on
Covington Road.
Suspect Description: Male / White, approximately 5'8", thin build, and described as having "heavy
acne" or "heavy acne scarring" about his face; last seen wearing large, clear-lens glasses, blue-
colored hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.
Suspect Vehicle Description: Possibly a dark-colored Cadillac, described as 'boxy'.
At this time, there is no description available reference the driver of the get-away vehicle other than a
Investigators are currently inquiring as to the availability of in-store surveillance footage/images.  This
incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County
