Annual Bicycle Auction

 

Date of Auction:        Saturday, June 4, 2011

 

Time of Auction:         Preview and Registration at 7:00 am

                                       Bidding to begin at 9:00 am for Bicycles

                                       Bidding to begin at noon for other items

 

Location of Auction:   1903 St. Mary’s Avenue

                                       Site of the former Police Academy

 

Items to be Auctioned:  Approximately 130 Bicycles (working and non-working order),

various hand and power tools, sporting goods, lawn equipment, small electronic items, and miscellaneous other items.

 

The Fort Wayne Police Department will be conducting its annual bicycle auction on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the former site of the Fort Wayne Police Academy at 1903 St. Mary’s Avenue.

 

There will also be lawn equipment, various hand and power tools, sporting goods (including golf bags and golf clubs), lawn equipment, guitars, car stereos, speakers, DVDs, CDs, cameras, jewelry, gaming systems, small electronic items, computers, and miscellaneous other items available to bid on.  Items will be available for preview beginning at 7:00 am.

 

Payment for any item must be in the form of cash or a pre-approved personal check.  Pre-approved checks require a valid state identification card or a valid state driver’s license.  No other form of payment will be accepted.

 

Any questions concerning the auction should be directed to the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Property Room between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday at 260 427-2034.
