Subject Arrested in Apartment Robbery, Believed to be Perpetrator in String of Apartment Robberies

Arrest Made in Woodbridge Apartment Robbery
Detectives with the Fort Wayne Police Department have linked a subject to a robbery that occurred on February 7, 2011 in the 1800 block of River Run Trail, the Woodbridge Apartment Complex.
Arrested: Kentron B. Ganaway, age 19, of Fort Wayne
Charges: Attempted Robbery, Class B Felony;
Battery, Class A Misdemeanor
Ganaway met with Fort Wayne Police detectives and during an interview shared significant detailed information about the River Run Trail incident that linked him to the investigation. This was one of a string of robberies that were reported to the Fort Wayne Police Department over an approximate three-month period of time. Investigators, at this time, believe Ganaway to be the perpetrator in many of those apartment robberies.
These incidents continue to be investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutor's Office.
