Death Investigation, 1200 Fayette Drive

Date/Time of Incident: April 08, 2011 / 4:08 p.m.

Location of Incident: 1200 block of Fayette Drive

Victim:   Male Adult

On Friday, April 08, 2011 at approximately 4:15 p.m. the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a home in the 1200 block of Fayette Drive reference a death investigation.  An adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene by first responders.  The department’s Homicide Unit was also called to the scene.  This is department protocol in such investigations when the cause of death is not immediately apparent at the scene. An autopsy will be completed by the Allen County Coroner’s Office to determine the exact cause and manner of death. At this time, it has not been determined if foul play was a factor in this investigation.

Two individuals were identified as persons of interest and have been transported to the Police Operations Center to be interviewed.

This incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
