On October 31, 2021 at approximately 12:43 am The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 4600 block of Euclid Avenue in reference to an apparent shooting. Officers were advised on dispatch that was one victim that had been shot inside the residence. Upon Officers arrival they located a male Juvenile inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers were able to clear the residence to make  sure there was no suspect inside the residence.

Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital with Non Life Threatening Injuries and a short time after arriving at the Hospital Emergency Room Physician downgraded his condition to Life Threatening Injuries.

Homicide Detectives along with Crime Scene Technicians were called to the scene to further investigate this incident. Detectives attempted to locate any witnesses as well as any video surveillance that could assist in this investigation and Crime Scene Technicians processed the scene for any evidence pertinent to this case.
