Post Baseball at and Threats
I have to ask this. A friend and I were threatened by a Perp on my friends land with a baseball bat. Apparently, my friend owes him $70.00. The Guy followed him to his property, came on the property and brandished a baseball bat. I went to dial 911 and he raised it to his shoulder and told me to shut my phone. And threatened my friend and even chased him with the baseball bat. And left when we finnaly got ahold of police dispatch. Why is it, No charges can be put on this individual? In the state of Indiana a Baseball Bat is considered a Deadly Weapon..Right? The incident was taken by a County Brownie. Have report number and everything.

There is much to be said while on PRIVATE land about \"bringing a baseball bat to a gunfight\".
It's called Castle Doctrine for a reason.

You should probably ask someone from the ACPD since they took your report. The FWPD has nothing in it.
