Pharmacy Robbery Investigation

Post Pharmacy Robbery Investigation 
Date/Time of Incident: January 6, 2012 / 11:23 a.m.
Location of Incident: 6202 W. Jefferson Blvd
Victim: Walgreens
Loss: Prescription Pain Medication (Several bottles)

On Friday, January 06, 2012 at approximately 11:23 a.m. the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 6202 W. Jefferson Blvd., Walgreens, reference a report of a possible robbery. It was reported that a male subject entered the store and demanded prescription pain
medication from the pharmacist. It was further reported that the perpetrator did not display a weapon, but had his hand in the pocket of his sweatshirt and threatened to harm the pharmacist if the 'drugs' were not given to him. The suspect fled the store to a waiting vehicle and possibly fled westbound on Covington Road.

Suspect Description: Male / White, approximately 5'8", thin build, and described as having "heavy acne" or "heavy acne scarring" about his face; last seen wearing large, clear-lens glasses, blue-colored hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.

Suspect Vehicle Description: Possibly a dark-colored Cadillac, described as 'boxy'.

At this time, there is no description available reference the driver of the get-away vehicle other than a Male/White.

Investigators are currently inquiring as to the availability of in-store surveillance footage/images. This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Post Pharmacy Robbery Investigation

Location: 4120 N. Clinton Street
Victim: Scott’s Pharmacy
Loss: Pain Medication (Opana)

On Monday, January 30, 2012 at approximately 10:36 a.m. the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 4120 N. Clinton Street, Scott’s Grocery Store, reference a robbery. At the scene it was reported that a male subject entered the store and approached the pharmacy counter and presented the pharmacy employee with a note. In the note, the demand for Opana was made and the threat of a weapon was made. After obtaining an undetermined amount of drugs, the suspect fled the store to a silver four-door vehicle and then fled the area toward Parnell Avenue. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Suspect Description: Male/white, mid-twenties; last seen wearing a greyish/black hooded
sweatshirt, black glasses, and gloves.

Suspect Vehicle: Silver, four-door vehicle, missing license plate.

10412 Coldwater Road, Walgreen's
Reported Loss: Opana

On Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at approximately 12:36 a.m. the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 10412 Coldwater Road, Walgreen’s, reference a report of a robbery. At the scene it was reported that a male subject entered the store and approached the pharmacy counter demanding Opana. It was further reported that the suspect appeared to be holding a weapon inside his pocket and threatened to shoot the employee. The suspect fled the store on foot northbound from the store. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Suspect Description: Male, white or possibly Hispanic; last seen wearing jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt, and possibly a surgical mask.

6201 Stellhorn Road, Walgreen's
Reported Loss: Opana

On Saturday, February 4, 2012 at approximately 8:28 pm the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 6201 Stellhorn Road, Walgreen's, reference a report of an armed robbery. At the scene it was reported that a male subject approached the pharmacy and presented a note indicating that he wanted Opana. It was further reported that the suspect had his hand in his pocket and that it appeared he was concealing a gun. After obtaining the Opana, the suspect fled the store and the area on foot, southbound along Maplecrest Road and then across Stellhorn Road.

Suspect Description: male/white, mid-twenties, approximately 6'6", clean shaven; last seen wearing a tan-colored Carhartt jacket, and a black-colored 'sock-cap'.

5830 N. Clinton Street, Walgreens
Reported Loss: Opana

On Monday, February 6, 2012 at approximately 6:45 p.m. the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 5830 N. Clinton Street, Walgreen’s, reference a report of an armed robbery. At the scene it was reported that a male subject came into the store, approached the pharmacy counter and demanded Opana. It was further reported that the suspect threatened to begin 'shooting the place up' all the while holding his hand(s) in his pockets and not displaying a weapon. After obtaining bottles of Opana, the suspect fled the store and possibly fled to a dark-colored vehicle waiting across the street at the gas station.

Suspect Description: male/white (possibly Hispanic), approximately 5’6”; last seen wearing a black jacket, black hat and black mask.

Possible Suspect Vehicle: Dark-colored passenger vehicle.
