I live in the Fort Wayne city limits and I would like to apply for a federal firearms license (collector of curios and relics) as a individual/owner. is there any requirements to be met under local or state law and also I need to send a copy of my federal application to the chief law enforment officer of the locality in which my premises is located. Would that be the chief of police, or the sheriff?

I can not find any local or State requirements. I would think that the application process with the Federal Government would spell out clearly any local or State issues.
