is there a reason they use the "image" system for spam for registered/logged on users? it is rather cumbersome and sort of defeats the purpose of registering?

if a registered user spams, you could ban the account (I have dealt with boards that get 1000's of replies a day and none use this system or any other for registered users)

Could be better used as a drunk poster detector? cant see the cats? oh well...
