Hi, I was just wondering what it takes for some of the officers in Fort Wayne to have the undercover cars? I was driving down Lima Road the other day and saw a red Mustang GT pulling someone over and just recently saw a black one at a stop light. I have always had a huge interest in becoming a police officer for the FWPD someday and I would love to have an undercover car like that. Just wondering what it takes for those guys to be able to do that? Thanks Mike!

The vehicles that you reference are Indiana State Police units. In answer to your question become a police officer and opportunities will persent themselves to become an undercover officer thereby giving one a chance to operate an unmarked.
