I have read several posts here about calling the Desk Sgt. with noise ordinance violations; this is something that I have repeatedly done in the past, until I had family members ask me to stop, as they feared retaliation from 'thug' elements.

Well, I'm tired of 'thug' elements getting away with it ALL THE TIME, DAY AND NIGHT. I can't personally call every time I hear one, I'd never get OFF the phone! Car stereos with subwoofers are by far the worst offenders, yet I see them roll by patrol cars with impunity; no WONDER they think it's OK!

Does this REQUIRE a citizen complaint to get a response? If so, CONSIDER ME COMPLAINING EVERY DAY IN THE AREA OF ANTHONY/PAULDING!

I have been cursed, called racial names, threatened, when I call in these things (likely part of the reason my family members' response). For more than a little while a few years ago, my home was KNOWN in the neighborhood as the source of calls to police for "trifling sh**" like noise.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see this go away.

I guess I'm just asking for my local PD to step UP!
