Post FWPD AS PRIVATE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY
My soon-to-be x-wife has relatives on FWPD.
She got them to file a phony report about domestic violence.
Can they be fired for doing this?
I am planning on suing the FWPD over the violation of my rights and for this officer miscounduct.

I don't think that people should be able to use the police dept to pursue thier own private agendas.

Does FWPD have a policy against such things? Or are you just out of luck if your are not related to a cop?

If you feel that an investigation has taken place that brings into question the legality of a Fort Wayne Police officer's action, then you have the right to file a complaint with our Office of Professional Standards, better known as Internal Affairs. You can start the process by contacting them at 427-1424.
