On Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 3:55AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a home in the 3000 block of Holton Ave on an unknown problem. Officers arrived and located four victims inside the residence; two females and one male who were pronounced deceased on the scene, and one female who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition where she remains in critical condition.
The only information currently available is that someone inside the home called 911 reporting hearing gunshots. At this time, it is unknown whether the victims were indeed shot or stabbed, or what exact injuries they received. Investigators are currently working to piece together what transpired inside this home. There is no suspect information. There were a few witnesses who were possibly inside the home when this incident occurred, and they are at the police station being interviewed. Crime scene units and detectives are processing the scene, searching for any other witnesses and evidence. Investigators are hoping to speak with the female at the hospital as early as possible to begin piecing this incident together. It is unknown if this incident is related to any other homicides.
The exact cause and manner of deaths, as well as identities, will be released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
