Critical Injury Shooting Investigation

Fort Wayne police are investigating the shooting which took place in front of 4033 Lillie Street at approximately 12:40 p.m. this afternoon.


On scene, officers found two males down near the sidewalk both suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s). Both victims were transported to a local hospital where they were determined to be in critical condition. Detectives were able to determine that a dark Chevy, much like an Impala, was seen driven by a male black stop in front of the address and its driver exit and began to shoot multiple times at the two victims. The Chevy was last seen departing the area north on Lillie Street. The suspect vehicle also contained a female black who was seated in the front passenger side seat. Names of the victims will be released once proper identification has been made and it appropriate to do so. This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutor’s office.
