Armed with a Handgun
Male Black 5’4”, Chubby, Very Dark Complexed,
Red Sweatshirt, Face Partially Concealed,
Threat of Being Armed
Fort Wayne police responded to the Partners 1st Credit Union located at 6210 W. Jefferson Boulevard at 8:15 a.m. this morning on the holdup alarm. While still responding to the scene it was confirmed that there was an actual robbery.
A female employee reported that she had just arrived and was entering the bank when confronted by two male black suspects. The suspects forced the employee inside the business where they successfully removed cash from the teller drawers. The suspects then left in what was describe as a gray KIA passenger car.
A gray KIA passenger car was later discovered by uniform officers in a nearby apartment complex that had been previously reported stolen. It is believed that this vehicle was the getaway car used by the suspects.
This incident remains under investigation by the Bank Robbery Task Force. Anyone that might have seen something that could be related to this robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867)
