Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Detectives have made an arrest in the July 27, 2019 shooting death of Jamarcus Kindred at Lafayette and Williams.

On Friday September 18, 2020 at approximately 3:46 AM officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a domestic investigation at a residence located in the 2600 block of Kenwood Ave. As officers arrived on the scene, they received information that a male that was involved in the domestic investigation was not currently at the residence.

On Saturday September 12, 2020 at approximately 10:35 PM officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the area of the 5800 block of Turtle Creek Drive in reference to an unresponsive individual that was located inside a parked vehicle.

Officers were initially called to the 700 block of Valdosta Dr in reference to a domestic battery that had just occurred. Upon investigation into the situation it was found that there had been a battery between a father and son.

On 9/15/2020 at approximately 11:39 am officers responded to 2029 Carlton Avenue for the report of a male subject that may be armed with a handgun. Initial reports from a family member were that the male, who was alone, had fired several shots inside the residence.
